Service Writer
Full Time (M-F, 8:00AM-5:00PM)
(1 Hour Lunch)
Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to interact well with others and maintain appropriate conduct
• Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar role
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise
• Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to enter and update data in various computer systems
• Telephone etiquette
• A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
• Willingness to work the required schedule, complete employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they come in for service and listen to their needs
• Create, update, and close repair orders on desktop computer
• Answering customer's questions about service outcomes
• Schedule service appointments
• Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
• Effectively communicate customer's concern to the technician performing the work
• Effectively communicate technician's findings and recommended repairs to the customer
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
